72 hours?

Most people plan for International Travel for at least six (6) months.  Not this family.  We got news from the US Embassy in Addis Ababa that we are cleared from travel.  We spoke with our agency and have requested Embassy dates of August 22, 23 or 24th.....NEXT WEEK.  So that means there is a 99.9999% chance we are leaving on Thursday.  That's right, less than 72 hours from now we will probably be en route to Ethiopia.  This is the point where I realize all the planning/buying/packing/etc that Abby has been doing over the last couple of months pays off.  She's incredible.  Ari and Ezra are both very blessed to have her for a mother.  And I'm blessed to have her as my wife.  We woke up at 6:30 this morning to the email from Addis.  It's been a whirl-wind ever since.  Stay tuned.......
